High Sierra Pilots Flying Club
High Sierra Pilots is a full-service flying club and aviation resource center designed to be affordable while providing access to a diverse group of aircraft. Club owner and founder Bryan Stewart was introduced to the world of general aviation more than six years ago while on a video job. After meeting and making friends with some pilots at a local airport, he decided he wanted to learn to fly. He had the unique and powerful opportunity to learn flying techniques from a number of different CFIs, in a variety of aircraft. He felt that this experience helped to not only give him a more well-rounded skill set but it prepared him to be a safer pilot. However, he realized that this sort of access to aircraft and rounded, diverse experience was not common for student pilots.
Inspired by this experience, Bryan founded the High Sierra Pilots flying club, with the aim to offer student pilots the chance to learn from a diverse team of experienced CFIs. But High Sierra Pilots also offers more to certificated private pilots as well, by providing access to aircraft with a variety of different missions, from training to backcountry flying, cross country, and even aerobatics, at a price that's affordable.
