The Main Rotor Hub is a helicopter flight training, charter and aviation services company based at Bankstown Aerodrome in Sydney, Australia. We provide a complete range of helicopter services, from pilot training through to aircraft support and operational services.

Our pilot training programs cover the full licensing pathway, including the Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL(H)), Private Pilot Licence (PPL(H)) and Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL(H)), along with advanced endorsements, flight reviews and recurrent training. Students train in busy controlled airspace at Bankstown Airport, gaining valuable real-world experience in a professional aviation environment.

Unlike traditional academy-style programs, our training model is designed for flexibility. Students can train full-time or part-time, allowing them to balance training with employment or other commitments. Our personalised approach ensures consistent instructor access and tailored training progression.

Beyond flight training, The Main Rotor Hub operates a range of aviation services. We provide scenic flights across Sydney and regional New South Wales, private charter services, and aerial support for photography and specialised operations.

We also offer aircraft hangarage and Fixed Base Operator (FBO) services at Bankstown Airport, supporting private and visiting helicopter owners with professional ground handling and storage solutions.

Qualified pilots can access our aircraft through helicopter self-fly hire, providing opportunities to build experience and remain current after completing their training.
