Upstate Flight School offers personal, one-on-one flight training at Oconee County Airport (KCEU) in Seneca, South Carolina, just minutes from Clemson and a short drive from Greenville. Every lesson is taught by our owner and chief instructor, a CFI, CFII, and MEI, so you train with the same experienced instructor from your first discovery flight through your checkride, on a schedule that fits your life and your goals.

We train primarily in a glass-panel Piper Cherokee 180 with dual Garmin G5 flight displays, GPS navigation, and an autopilot, an ideal platform for earning your Private Pilot rating and continuing toward Instrument and Commercial. Whether you are starting from zero, returning to flying after time away, or building toward an advanced rating, we tailor the pace and the syllabus to you.

Our programs include the Private Pilot rating, Instrument and Commercial training, recurrent training, flight reviews, and instrument proficiency checks.
